Desktop App

The Scrivent desktop app adds projector (External Display) and NDI outputs on top of everything the browser does.

Two windows

  • Operator console — your control surface, on your main screen.
  • Output window — the live projection, sent borderless to the monitor you choose, or streamed over NDI.

Choosing your output

In Settings → Broadcast, pick the Output Type: Browser/OBS, External Display, or NDI. For External Display, select the target monitor; for NDI, set the source name. Then toggle Enable Output on.

Local vs cloud backend

The app can point at a local backend (for fully on-site setups) or the hosted cloud backend. Switch from the app's menu.

NDI needs the NDI runtime present on the machine. If it isn't available, the app will tell you and you can fall back to the OBS + DistroAV route described in Broadcast Outputs.
