Quick Start

Get a verse on screen in about five minutes.

Watch first: Run a Sunday service with Scrivent, a three-minute walkthrough of the console: scriptures, free hymns, your PowerPoint announcements, worship backgrounds, and the live mic putting a verse on screen by itself.
  1. Sign in. Open the app and sign in to reach the operator Console.
  2. Open a display. Open the projection Display on your projector screen (or share the overlay/pew link with your team). The console shows a QR code and link for this.
  3. Pick your microphone. In Settings → Audio, choose your input device and run the level test to confirm it's picking up sound.
  4. Start the mic. Click the microphone control on the console. Scrivent begins transcribing.
  5. Preach. Quote a verse — say, "For God so loved the world…" — and watch it appear on the display.
Tip: Start in Manual display mode for your first run so detections wait for your approval before going live. Switch to Auto once you trust it.

Is it free?

Yes. Every church gets all of Scrivent free, with no time limit and no card: unlimited transcription, projector (External Display) output, the Browser/OBS overlay, NDI, themes and worship backgrounds, your church's branding, and sermon history. Nothing locks, and there is nothing to upgrade. If your church already has a Pro key, it still works in Settings → License. See Plans & Licensing.
