Quick Start

Get a verse on screen in about five minutes.

  1. Sign in. Open the app and sign in to reach the operator Console.
  2. Open a display. Open the projection Display on your projector screen (or share the overlay/pew link with your team). The console shows a QR code and link for this.
  3. Pick your microphone. In Settings → Audio, choose your input device and run the level test to confirm it's picking up sound.
  4. Start the mic. Click the microphone control on the console. Scrivent begins transcribing.
  5. Preach. Quote a verse — say, "For God so loved the world…" — and watch it appear on the display.
Tip: Start in Manual display mode for your first run so detections wait for your approval before going live. Switch to Auto once you trust it.

Free vs Pro

Your church gets 30 days free from the day it signs up: 90 minutes of transcription per week, the Browser/OBS overlay, and projector (External Display) output in the desktop app. After that a Pro subscription is needed to keep going — it adds unlimited transcription, NDI output, custom branding, and sermon history.
