System Requirements

What you need to run Scrivent in the browser or as the desktop app.

Browser (any platform)

• A current version of Chrome, Edge, or another Chromium-based browser.
• Microphone access granted to the site.
• A reliable internet connection for transcription.

Desktop app

• Windows — Windows 10 or 11.
• macOS — a recent macOS release.
• A second display connected for External Display output.
• For NDI output, the NDI runtime present on the machine (or use the OBS + DistroAV fallback).

Network

• Outbound internet for transcription and licence check-ins.
• For NDI, operator and receiver on the same local network.
