How to put sermon points and prayer points on the church screen

Every week someone rebuilds the same PowerPoint: the topic, the anchor scripture, the points, then the prayer points. There is a faster way.

The Sermon Sheet

In Scrivent, open Slides from the console. The Sermon Sheet holds the parts of your service, and each part becomes a button you can put on screen with one tap:

  • Service banner — service name, date and theme.
  • Topic and anchor scripture.
  • Objectives, things to note, and punchlines.
  • Discussion points, with sub-points.

Slides use the same screen and theme as the verses, so the topic, the scripture and the points all look like one service — not a PowerPoint pasted in the middle.

Prayer points

Switch the sheet to Prayer and paste the list exactly as the pastor sent it — “PRAYER 1 …”, numbered lines, or one prayer per paragraph. Scrivent makes one full-screen slide per prayer, with its scripture reference, in seconds.

Daily devotionals

Churches that project a daily devotional can paste it into Devotional mode and get the whole set of slides at once, instead of rebuilding them every morning.

Running it during service

  • Tap a slide to put it on screen; tap Blank to clear it.
  • Verses the pastor quotes still appear automatically in between.
  • From a phone: scan the QR in the console to use your phone as a remote, so you can move through slides from anywhere in the hall.
